Yamaguchi Kenzo Exhibition -Metal Smithing-

Metal smithing is a techique to make forms from sheet metals by raising, forging, soldering, welding, etc.

Yamaguchi Kenzo said that he has an interest in Hisago (gourd) shape as he feels two spirits, separating and connecting in its expanded parts at upper and lower locations and squeezed part in the middle.

In this exhibition, Ippodo introduces the warmth to be found in sharp expression of Yamaguchi Kenz's metal works.
