Teramoto Mamoru Exhibition

Teramoto Mamoru has 30 years of profound experience in pottery making. He has been based in Kasama City of Ibaraki Prefecture.

His works are stylish and traditional pattern and shapes are modernized in his design. He always uses Arita clay and works with wheel. The shapes of his works are sleek and silver patterns on his works are modern.
He joined a group exhibition at Ippodo NY back in 2008 and this is the first time for him to have a solo show at Ginza Ippodo Salon. Please come and explore the world of Teramoto Mamoru.

1975 Apprentised to Matsumoto Saichi of Kutani
1980 The 27th Japanese Traditional Arts and Craft Exhibition
    Grand Prize of Ibaraki Annual Art Exhibition (Itaya Hazan Award
    in 1990)
1981 Accepted for The 6th Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition
1982 Exhibited at Japanese Traditional Art Craft New Work Exhibition
    (Promotion Award in 1994)
1994 Commission work for Great Island Club - a mural
1996 Commission work for Ibaraki Prefectural University of Health Sciences

1997 A judge for Vendres International Ceramic Event (France)
