In 1970's, Masumi Pizer spent a few years in London and re-discovered the beauty of Japan up there. After she returned to Japan, she experienced several life changes such as finding a job, getting married, raising children, etc. During those 10 years, she found "upholstered Cha-bako" at one of her American friends and loved it. She thereafter created so many "interior chabakos", which matches beautifully with both Japanese and Western interiors.

This exhibition commemorates her new book titled "Interior Cha-bako".
