Hisao Kawahara Photo Exhibition\Taking the picture of Bunraku ; the Japanese traditional puppet theater, "living"

Hisao Kawahara has been striking by the beauty of Bunraku meeting by his work. He approaches a puppet from the wings of a stage and takes a picture in a moment. In his picture, a technique of a puppeteer becomes living of a puppet\crying, laughing, anger, pleasure, sorrow. His picture is showed a puppet as if it's living. In this time, we'll introduce Bunraku; the Japanese traditional beauty living in the present day filling with the beauty which Mr. Kawahara has been chasing. This exhibition shouldn't be missed because we'll show excellent scenes of the late Mr. Tamao Yoshida, in pictures. Moreover, Bunraku's puppets will be exhibited with pictures.

| 1948 | Born in Kyoto. Going through an advertising photo studio and an advertising agency and then setting up in 1984. |
| 1984 | Being concerned Joururi "Bunraku." Since then, for 22 years, he has been taking a picture of Bunraku's puppet on stage. Now, he takes charge a cover of a regular performance program of "Bunraku" in National Theater. He uses his own picture and biding. Furthermore, he offers many pictures to "Bunraku" for an advertising overseas performance and publication companies and broadcasting stations because his picture is taken well by foreign countries and young people. |
