Asai Shinpei and Asai Ryusuke Exhibition

Asai Shinpei, since he was acknowledged as the only one official photographer in Japan for Beatles, his name and works became very well known. He is so active that his works range from photos, essays to TV commentary. Father of Asai Shinpei was a creator of Seto pottery and his "creator's DNA" has been transferred onto his son, Shinpei and his grandson, Ryusuke. Asai Ryusuke is one of the best young creators of pottery. Simplified shapes of his works well exhibit traditional elements.

The theme of this exhibition is "Heart". Shinpei shows us his works made of various materials. Ryusuke, Shinpei's son, expresses the concept in his tea cups/bowls. Please enjoy the harmony of two hearts - Shinpei and Ryusuke.
