Exhibition of Tempera by Sei Arimori

21st Jan 2010~6th Feb 2010

"The world we see is governed by a principle carried out from birth to death and death to rebirth. Beauty is given birth in such a transformation. We live in the current of time, from morning to evening, from brightness to darkness, in the absence of absolute. In order to feel those changes, we are required to live in the present reality. I try to express rythm and harmony born in various transformations of life, using traditional techniques such as tempera of Europe and gold foil of Japan. I hope my works strike a cord in viewers' heart." - by Sei Arimori
